Digital Account Manager
The Bigger Boat

Progressed to a client-facing role for accounts including Untha UK and BeFibre, staying hands-on with technical audits, fixes, and reporting, and bringing technical and digital marketing knowledge to the account team.
- Client Management: Primary point of contact for clients, managing roadmaps and delivery within retainers, and quoting ad hoc work for client sign-off.
- Technical delivery: Remained hands-on throughout the role: technical audits, fixes, migration support and troubleshooting, both for my own accounts and for the wider team when technical questions came up.
- Technical translation: Turning audit findings into prioritised, plain-English recommendations that clients and account teams could act on, and agreeing the order of work with each client.
- Training: Trained clients and account managers on technical topics including SEO, AI Search, GA4, and data privacy.

Digital Marketing Executive (SEO)
Oct 2022 - Jul 2024
Hands-on SEO across a range of client sites including Zapf Creation, CheckFire, and Major Golf Direct, covering technical audits and improvements, site migrations, and on-page work.
- Technical audits: In-depth audits covering crawlability, indexation, rendering, site architecture and internal linking, plus backlink profiles. (Screaming Frog, Google Search Console)
- Technical improvements: Implementing fixes on client sites: resolving indexing issues, redirects and status code errors, robots.txt and robots meta directives.
- Working with dev teams: Briefing developers on code-level changes, then reviewing them on staging before release. Had direct access to client GitHub repos for smaller changes such as redirect rules, submitted as PRs for review. CMS-level work, including on-page optimisation, I handled myself where permissions allowed.
- Page performance: Diagnosing performance issues on client sites and specifying the fixes.
- Structured data & schema: Implementing and debugging schema markup across client sites to support richer search results and clearer entity signals.
- Website migrations: Leading the SEO side of site launches: pre-live audits, redirect mapping, go-live QA and post-live monitoring.
- On-page optimisation: Producing, editing and refreshing meta-titles, meta-descriptions, header tags, blog posts and on page content informed by in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Keyword research, search intent & SERP analysis: Long-tail research from seed terms, competitor analysis, and spotting SERP features (such as featured snippets and People Also Ask) worth targeting. (Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Ads Keyword Planner, Advanced Web Ranking)
- Monitoring, measurement & reporting: Weekly internal health checks across visibility, clicks and impressions, conversions, traffic and open issues, catching problems early. Monthly client reporting built in Looker Studio, pulling from GA4, Search Console and Google Ads.
- Wider digital marketing support:
- Monitoring PPC campaigns, analysing performance and suggesting improvements (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising).
- Building & scheduling email campaigns, automating workflows (Mailchimp, Klaviyo & Dynamics 365, Zapier).
