seo explainer.
Client's eyes glazing over? Type an SEO term and get three ways to explain it,
from the version for a clever colleague down to the one you'd draw in crayon.
what is this for?
Half the job in SEO is translation. You know what a canonical tag does; the client just wants to know why their homepage "isn't showing up". This gives you three registers for the same idea: one for a sharp colleague, a plainer one for the meeting, and a deliberately daft one for when nothing else is landing. Steal whichever fits the room.
what do the three tiers mean?
clever colleague is for a sharp coworker who doesn't do SEO: accurate, but no insider jargon. plain english strips it back further for a smart client who doesn't live in this stuff. in crayon is the cartoon version for when the plain one still isn't landing, or when you just want a laugh. The joke is in the drop; the top tier is the one that actually earns its keep.
my term isn't in here
This is an early build with a starter bank, so plenty is missing. It's a prototype more than a dictionary. More terms are on the way; if there's one you keep having to explain, that's exactly the kind worth adding.
